If there is an emergency situation, we will meet you at the office, but we ask you first call for an appointment. While promoting healthy protocols, we will not accept meetings without an appointment.
DOES THIS VIRUS CHANGE MY CASE?
The simple answer is basically it does not. For all intents and purposes the courts are open for business in a limited capacity. Pleadings are being filed, answers are promulgated, discovery is occurring, and judges are in fact ruling on cases. The only real true aspect that has been held up is court appearances in an actual court. Courts will eventually fully reopen, opposing counsel will continue to litigate on the issues that you the client have. The legal issues will not go simply disappear because of this crisis. In other words, this partial shutdown may delay things for a while but that’s all, only delay.
It’s my belief that this is a very important time period and we should not simply sit down and go to sleep. Other parties in your case are taking action right this minute to utilize this time to enhance their positions. It’s our job as your lawyers to help you navigate this and take advantage of this time as well. It is our policy to take whatever legal action and practical action necessary to be successful in your matter. Now is the time to utilize every aspect of what is occurring around us to your benefit if possible.
